I have created a template in Reaper for recording - basically a setup with the number of tracks I want to record, have them all labeled, set the routing coming from the XR18, and I usually send FOH L&R to usb 17/18. WebSo I would suggest not grouping the tracks but put them in a folder for housekeeping . Apply a plugin to one track , make adjustments and then select the rest of the tracks with shift click and drag the plugin over . It will create multiple instances with the same settings .
