WebI have seen you can upgrade yourself and the steps aren't as difficult as I would have initially thought. The Sync2 is great but having that CarPlay feature would be fantastic I think. I did view this video whilst viewing and researching information online. The upgrade is possible as I have seen others upgrade from Sync1 to Sync3.
